Level 2 Pattern Making & Garment Construction

This intermediate-level class is designed for students who already have a basic understanding of pattern drafting. Throughout the course, students will learn more advanced pattern transformations and how to apply them to create custom garment designs. Instruction will cover pattern manipulation techniques for skirts, bodices, sleeves, and pants, along with garment construction and sewing methods to bring these designs to life.

Prerequisites:

• Students must have completed Level 1, or
• Bring their own well-fitting basic block patterns (sloper/block) for skirts, bodices, sleeves, and pants.

• Converting basic blocks into finished garment patterns

Materials Required:
Students must bring their own basic block patterns or have previously completed the Level 1 course. All sewing and pattern-making tools should be brought to class unless otherwise specified.
